Cementitious Waterproof Slurry for Concrete and Masonry Structures
Planiseal 88, formerly known as Idrosilex Pronto, is a high-performance, single-component cementitious waterproofing slurry used for protecting and waterproofing masonry and concrete surfaces. Applied by brush or trowel, Planiseal 88 forms a rigid barrier that resists water under both positive and negative pressure. It is ideal for waterproofing basements, cellars, lift pits, retaining walls, tanks, and other below-ground or water-retaining structures.

Application Instructions
- Surface Preparation: Clean substrate thoroughly, removing dust, grease, and loose material. Dampen the surface before application.
- Mixing: Add clean water to the powder while mixing to form a smooth, lump-free slurry.
- Apply First Coat: Brush or trowel onto the prepared surface, ensuring even coverage.
- Apply Second Coat: After the first coat has cured (typically 4–6 hours), apply a second coat perpendicular to the first.
- Curing: Protect from rapid drying, rain, and frost during curing. Allow at least 7 days before exposing to full water pressure.
Limitations
- Not suitable for flexible waterproofing requirements — forms a rigid coating.
- Do not apply below 5°C or onto frozen or saturated surfaces.
Health & Safety
Contains cement – wear gloves, dust mask, and goggles. Avoid skin and eye contact and ensure adequate ventilation. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed handling instructions.
